About Me
Hi, I'm Claire
I've always been someone who connects naturally with people and genuinely enjoys hearing their stories. Counselling has given me the opportunity to turn that into meaningful work, supporting people through some of life's most difficult, confusing and emotional moments.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental. I don't believe you need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling, and I certainly don't expect perfection. Life can be messy, relationships can be complicated, and sometimes we all need a space where we can simply be ourselves.
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and accepted. I aim to offer a genuine therapeutic relationship where you can explore whatever feels important to you, at your own pace.
As a mum to three daughters, I understand that life often involves balancing responsibilities, relationships, worries and the unexpected. Like many people, I've experienced challenges, changes and periods of uncertainty, which is why I value authenticity, kindness and human connection so deeply.
Beyond Counselling
When I'm not counselling, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, working on new ideas, or developing resources and wellbeing programmes designed to help people better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges.
Like many people, I have experienced my own share of loss, difficult times, uncertainty and change. Those experiences have shaped who I am and deepened my appreciation for the importance of kindness, authenticity and genuine human connection.
I don't believe anyone has life completely figured out, and I think there is something incredibly powerful about being able to show up as ourselves, imperfections and all. My hope is to offer a space where you feel accepted, supported and able to explore whatever is on your mind without fear of judgement.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, lost, or simply looking for a space where you can talk openly and be yourself, you're welcome here.
